What’s the coating difference between capsules and tablets?
The tablets are enteric coated – not with anything unhealthy or toxic however, totally natural and safe) and are normally advised if someone needs to bypass the stomach completely, as these disintegrate and absorb in the small intestine.
The capsules are delayed release, which is the most technologically advanced, but do not bypass the stomach.
Which Serrapeptase for chronic inflammation?
For chronic inflammation we would recommend the Maximum Strength Serraenzyme, between 1-3 capsule, 3 x per day.
Is Serrapeptase safe to take for stomach ulcers?
It is generally safe to take if one has a stomach ulcer. However the enteric-Coated Serra Enzyme tablets may be better as they by-pass the stomach and don’t begin digesting until reaching the small intestine.
We would also suggest:
- Prescript-Assist 2 per day (more if needed)
- Gastro-Enzyme Therapy – as directed
- Digestive Enzymes Plus – as directed
Which is best Serrapeptase Capsules or Tablets?
It is really a matter of personal preference if you choose a capsule or a tablet. Both are designed for delayed release in that they pass through the acidic environment of the stomach, and release the Serra Enzyme in the intestines to pass through to the rest of the body.
